A private planning session with someone who has been there

The person running this session went through gambling harm themselves. They also work in finance. That combination — lived experience and financial literacy — is what makes these sessions different from generic money coaching or therapy.

This is not therapy. It is not regulated financial advice. It is one person who figured out the hard part sitting down with another person who is in the middle of it — and building a practical plan together.

  • You've done the kit or the calculator and still feel stuck on what to actually do
  • Your situation is complicated — multiple creditors, family debt, irregular income — and generic advice doesn't fit
  • You want to talk to someone who actually understands gambling harm — not just debt in the abstract
  • You need help preparing for a hard conversation — with a partner, a creditor, or a family member you owe money to
  • You're a partner or family member trying to understand the financial picture and figure out next steps
  • You're in crisis and need immediate mental health support — please call 988 first
  • You need a licensed therapist, regulated financial planner, or legal advice — these require credentialed professionals
  • You're still actively gambling — this session is for people who have stopped or are committed to stopping

Lived experience. Finance background. No judgment.

I keep my name off the public site, but there's no mystery to what I bring: a background in finance, and firsthand experience with how fast gambling can damage your money. You'll meet me on the call itself.

The personal part is the reason this exists. The gambling problem hit me too, and digging out of it was far harder and lonelier than it should have been.

What the finance background gave me wasn't immunity. It was a framework for dealing with the mess once I was ready to. Debt triage, creditor calls, a survival budget: these are learnable skills, and that is what the session is for.

FAQ

Is this confidential?

Yes. What you share in the session stays in the session. The only exception would be a legal obligation to report harm — the same standard any professional operates under. Nothing is sold, shared, or used for marketing without explicit permission.

What's the difference between this and the $20 kit?

The kit is a self-guided system — tools you work through on your own at your own pace. The session is personalized, two-way, and adapts to your specific situation. Many people do the kit first and then book a session when they hit a question the worksheets can't answer.

What if I don't know my exact numbers yet?

That's fine — rough numbers and approximations are enough to have a useful conversation. Part of what the session does is help you figure out what you actually need to know and where to find it.

I'm embarrassed about how bad it is. Will you judge me?

No. The person running these sessions has been in the same position. There is no amount of debt or level of financial chaos that will produce judgment. The whole point of this service is that it doesn't.

Is there a refund policy?

If you feel the session wasn't useful, email us within 48 hours and we'll make it right. No hoops.

One session can change your whole first year of recovery.

Not because one conversation fixes everything. Because having a clear plan — one that actually fits your numbers, your situation, and where you are in recovery — is the thing that makes everything else possible.
